tubing with beer

On the various tubing excursions, are you allowed to drink a beer as you tube? DH says this is crucial info before booking a tubing excursion.

no, I never got an answer. From everything I have read, it sounds like you just stop half way and can have a beer, but not actually in the tube.

We booked a tubing excursion through the ship. There was no beer but shortly after the tubing started the guide passed around cups and a jug of rum punch. We are not drinkers so can't say anything about it except that the ones drinking it were pretty looped by the time we got to the end.
