LEESRE Posted June 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 15, 2008 We have cruised quite extensively with P&O and have never had an upgrade with them. We have with Princess but the cabin was very near to the stern and we had booked a mid ships cabin so declined the offer.

StLucia Posted June 15, 2008 #8 Share Posted June 15, 2008 I've been wondering the same thing. On each of our past 3 cruises we have been upgraded each time. On Carnival from inside to outside, one OV from inside to outside and on OV2 from outside to balcony. On OV2 the upgrade was initially from an outside midship to a forward balcony. After some discussion they agreed to move us to a midship balcony, which was really lovely and convinced us to try and have a balcony on future cruises. On Ventura we are very happy with the balcony cabin we have booked and I'm not sure we would actually want an upgrade.
