my wife and i did a tour thru Coral Breeze Tours. we snorkeled, spent time on bannister island, and then went looking for manatees. although we did not see any it was not due to lack of effort on the guides part.

We went with Hammerhead the last week in May and they were so professional and fun. Bannister Caye is great. The best snorkeling I have ever been on and so knowkledgeable. Hurricane Artur was coming in and when it was time to go see the manatees we opted to go back to the boat as the skys were so dark. I will try to find my picture of the boat and link it here.

Stay right with Mr Bigg and you will see lots of fish and he points out things that you would not see normally if he wasn't there. We saw jellow stingray and barracudas and he even went down and got things and brought them up for us to hold and feel.
