lucia1024 Posted June 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 17, 2008 I will be on the Star in Sept for the first time and was wondering how the entertainment was? What type of shows or acts are they offering. Thanks
AliCat22 Posted July 3, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 3, 2008 Do you mean the Norwegian Star, or the Star Princess?

AliCat22 Posted July 4, 2008 #4 Share Posted July 4, 2008 We were on the Star in late April and early May. We had a great time! As far as entertainment, there were several options. A couple of nights a singing and dancing troupe, Jean Ann Ryan Company, had theme shows such as a 70s night and a Cirque de Soleil show. A comedy team did an improv show and there was a magician as well. Musically, the ship's "show band" was wonderful and did their own performance one day. Other musicians played each night in the different lounges. There was a Motown-style singer, an acoustic guitar player/singer, a couple of piano players/singers (standards and Harry Connick-type music), and I think one or two other musicians. My husband and I really enjoyed hearing a couple of the lounge musicians each night--Chris May on piano and Sean Burns on guitar. On the first night, they have a big show which showcases most (not all) of the performers, so you can get an idea of what you want to see during the week. Hope this helps. Have a wonderful time! (You may also get more answers to this questions on the Norwegian forum.)
