When and Where will the new OASIS Sail?

Recommended Posts

For western caribbean they were talking about a new port in Jamaica. Can't remeber the name right now. For the eastern caribbean itinerary they were talking about Antigua and St.Maarten is building another pier (financed by Carnival Corp.) at the moment. I think that cruises on the Oasis will have a lot of sea days.

St Maarten is building a new pier that is being financed by both Carnival and RCCL so that they get docking priority. Carnival is paying for more of the construction of the pier.

Falmouth in Jamaica is currently building a new pier for the Oasis class of ships. RCI announced that they were building a new pier for Labadee. San Juan can already handle the ship as can St. Thomas at the Crown Bay terminal. Costa Maya also announced that the reconstructed pier that opens soon can handle the Oasis.

Hi,

I've just looked at the Oasis video and think that it's an amazing ship - the ports of call almost seem secondary to the journey on board.

What are the chances that RCCL will take Oasis out of the Caribbean and go to some o/s ports? It's certainly big enough and it would fill with passengers who like the long term cruises and then additional passengers from the O/S ports.
