dgballer39 Posted June 19, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2008 Just wondering what the going rate for a 18 pack or any large case of beer is at a food store; such as bud light or something.
C&F Posted June 23, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 23, 2008 Probably not much different than at a U.S. store. 10-13 bucks probably, depending on the store.
rainforestgirl Posted June 23, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 23, 2008 I don't know off hand because I only occasionally buy beer. However there is a tax on beer (all but the local kind), so it is more expensive than in the States. There is a local beer called Medalla Light, that is similar in taste to Bud Light. It will be the least expensive option at $16.72 for a case of 24. These are 10+ oz cans (not the usual 12 oz ). This was a few months ago I bought it last. gonzo1124 Posted June 23, 2008 #4 Share Posted June 23, 2008 Right on about the 10 ounce cans. They cannot sell 12 ounce cans in PR. I guess you can't get drunk that easy with only 10 ounces...
Podie Posted June 24, 2008 #5 Share Posted June 24, 2008 This past Saturday I bought a 12-pack of Corona bottles in a SJ supermarket for $13.
C&F Posted June 26, 2008 #6 Share Posted June 26, 2008 Did they give you a problem getting them back on the ship?
