Dubrovnik -anchorage

Recommended Posts

Apparently we will have to anchor and be shipped in to Dubrovnik.

I have never had to do this before. Can anyone give me an idea of the time taken, approximately to reach the landing.

Any tips for Dubrovnik. We are on our own or with friends and have declined the shore excursions for this port from Cunard.

We welcome all suggestions for our day or half day itinerary.

Many thanks

Hi

Its a bonus to tender into Dubrovnik - you come right into the harbour and are in the city walls within minutes.

We spent our day walking the walls, exploring the city then we took a boat trip up the coast to a little village called Cavtat - 40 Minutes each way by boat, and the boats runs backwards & forwards to Dubrovnik every hour. Plenty of time to do it all in a day, and no need to book in advance.
