Queen Victoria (13 August) Do's and Dont's?

Looking at the roll call there are only a few of us going or so it appears at least.

 

I would appreciate your experiences of the ship and its Med ports of call.

 

Any guidance as to how best arrange our shore time and ensure we avoid prolonged delays would be very welcome. We intend to see Istanbul and others on foot. Would you? We are fit and able.

I am just back from a busines trip to Istanbul, where we did a little sightseeing and, without question, skip the excursions and see the Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, St. Sophia's and the Grand Bazaar all on foot as they are near each other.
