dces1 Posted June 19, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2008 Hi All: I've done an extensive search of this board and can't find the answer to my question: is the balcony on this cabin large enough to accommodate three adults? I've booked it for an Alaskan cruise in August and wish to share it with a married couple who have book an oceanview. Hopefully, someone will be able to advise. Thanks!! meterman2 Posted June 19, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 19, 2008 I was in 6166 on the Volendam. The balcony has a lounge chair, a regular chair and a small table. Certainly another chair would fit, albeit cozy. Maybe your steward could replace the lounge chair with two regular chairs. Three can comfortly stand at the reeling to see the sights. Have a great cruise!
3onthego Posted June 20, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 20, 2008 We just got off the Volendam last week and stayed in a cabin with that size balcony. My MIL stayed in an inside cabin across the hall and visited us to enjoy the view. You can do 3 on the balcony but not with 3 chairs as the door will not open or close. 2 seated and one standing works fine or like us 2 seated on the deck and one in a chair with the door open sitting in the doorway. It was a bit chilly and my MIL enjoyed a bit more warmth.
