Princess with children

Has anyone sailed from Australia with Princess accompanied by small children. We are sailing with 4 and 7 year old on the Dawn Princess and were wondering if they are as well catered for as on the P&O ships. Also wondering if anyone else on this cruise (9 Jan 2009) is travelling with little ones.

We sailed last year on Emerald Princess in the med with 7 & 9 year old. There were only a small group of kids on board but lots of activities in the kids club every day for our kids they couldn't get enough of it.

My son and I have sailed many times on the Dawn Princess. He enjoys going to the kid centre called the Funzone.

Your children will likely be in the same age group together (the 3-7s). They will enjoy making crafts, playing games, watching movies, going for ice cream, etc. Some evenings the youth staff will take the children for a special dinner at the buffet.

At the beginning of the cruise you will get a Funzone schedule with all the information on the activities.

Thanks for your replies. Little bit apprehensive about putting kids in care but feel a little more at ease now. Happy that they can both be together as in other cruises their age seperates them.
