Grand Pacific Dining Room Dress Code--Gem

I have read different comments about the dress code for this restaurant. Can anyone give me the "official" dress code? I was going to ask to be seated there on the day I embarked for lunch because of recommendations by other CC members, but I don't know if my party will be dressed appropriately after our flight into Barcelona! Thanks for any input!

The dress code for lunch in the restaurants is quite simple.... pretty much anything. They only ask that no swimwear be worn and shoes be worn.

Shorts, t-shirts, jeans, etc. are fine for lunch.

For dinner, it is somewhat stricter... no shorts, jeans, t-shirts or swimwear. For Dinner: polo shirts, kahki or dockers pants and sneakers are perfectly acceptable in all dining venues on all nights including the main restaurant.

(although, the fashion police on this board may chime in about that....)

DAGVBSB has it pretty well down.

Only thing I might add is that on sail away day, they often (usually) relax the dress code even more than usual as they're aware that people will often be in their travel clothes and may not even have their luggage delivered to their cabins yet.
