Priceline for Tampa hotel

My husband has had success using priceline for hotels so we decided to try it for a hotel in Tampa on Dec. 18, we are going on the Miracle on the 19. He put in two rooms at 48 dollars each and we got the Hyatt which I understand is very close to the port. I am very excited about this good deal. Anyone else have any good luck using Priceline?

We used PL & got Hilton-Westshore in Tampa for our upcoming Miracle cruise. $45 bid as opposed to $99 rate.

We were able to get the Hilton Westshore in Tampa for $50 on PL last year... I always use PL and get a good rate... has not always been a happy ending, but in this case it was... was very pleased with the hotel and room location.
