Can you bring an inflatable beach float to Coco-Cay ???

We did and then gave them to the two of the locals who worked there, this was at Labadee but I don't see why it wouldn't be the same at Coco Cay.

i've brought one for myself and enjoyed it at three different ports of call. i'm not one to just stand in the water so to be able to float around was so relaxing and i saved some dollars that i put to some good beers i mean use.:) have fun.

Like SueL, we left them for the locals at Labadee - they react to these Dollar Store plastic beach floats as though they were gold!!!

Always bring one to Labadee. Buy them at the end of the summer season and you can get them for practically nothing.

We are taking them to CocoCay in August. I have taken them both to CocoCay and Labadee, but did not end up using them as it never got so hot that I could not just lay in the sun., I am guessing in August it will be hot enough we will spend a lot of time in the water so I will be putting the mat to good use. Plan to leave it behind for the locals after we leave.

Thanks OP for the idea. we have 3 young kids so wanted to bring floaty thing that the youngest can sit in and flot around at the beach in Labadee.

I bring a "noodle" from the Dollar Store. It fits right in around the inside of my suitcase.

We always bring a few noodles... And as I insert them around the inside perimeter of the suitcases they help cushion what we've packed.

I recommend the spring-type of float that has mesh in the middle and a smaller blow-up "edge". That type blows up much faster, and they usually come with a carrying bag. They are a little more expensive than the plain blow-up mattresses, but they last for years.
