Are we going to Grand Caymen?

Wow, I must really be out of the loop. Are ships going to Grand Caymen? I just read that port might be skipped. We are going on the Voyager Jan 15th. Is RCCL subsituting another port?

It has been my understanding that they will be going there again in mid- late Nov. You should have no problem.

I also read by the first of November, the port should be opened.

We are also on the January 15 VOS sailing. I sure hope Grand Caymen will be open. The kids are really looking forward to stingray city.

It will be open in January for sure. You will just have to hope the weather is good enough to run the tenders. GC is bypassed quite often for the weather.:)

From what I hear, we should be able to get into Grand Cayman by the first of November. We have already booked a tour to stingray city with a local company. It is a great deal! It cost $25 per person, which includes bottled water or soft drinks. The local guide emailed me that they should be ready to start getting cruise ships again very soon. I hope this is true. My kids are so excited about going to stingray city. It will be a huge disappointment if we can't go.
