They should have a fridge since the Gem is so new. To be sure, I'd call NCL and ask.

I looked on the cabin description for an inside cabin on the Gem. They lists it as having a refrigerator.

None-the-less, to put you at-ease, every Cabin on all NCL ships have mini fridges, except the Spirit, Dream, and Majesty. And on those three ships, all the Suites and most Superior cabins have mini-fridges. And then, if you call or e-mail NCL's Special Needs Depatment, they can arrange a portable mini-fridge for your lesser cabin.

 

Guests with Special Needs

A dedicated special needs coordinator is available to assist guests with special needs, such as wheelchairs, seeing-eye dogs, oxygen, etc.
