simplelife Posted July 13, 2008 #26 Share Posted July 13, 2008 OP, please realize that the rule is for the welfare of you and your baby. If there are any sort of complications with the mother or baby, you may be hours or even days away from appropirate medical care. I realize that any pax can become ill at sea, but a 35 week pregnancy is a forseeable potential risk.

Julienatul Posted July 14, 2008 #29 Share Posted July 14, 2008 So sorry to hear about your loss. I miscarried a baby two days before we were to set sail a few years back. We had to cancel our cruise, it was horrible to deal with all of that and not be able to cruise. We lost the baby and the vacation. Fortunately the cruiseline gave us a credit on a future sailing since we didnt have travel insurance at the time (the last time we traveled without it). Its a tough thing to go through, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your wife. Enjoy your cruises. You certainly deserve them.
