Elcruzer Posted June 30, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2008 Anyone have recommendations for Oli's Trolley or Arcadia Bus Tour? Trying to decide which one to take, they seem to do the same tour.
agabbymama Posted June 30, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 30, 2008 Lots on our cruise did Oli's Trolley, but I wanted to do the wagon ride, so we did a tour with cruiseline to Acadia National Park in a bus that included the wagon ride along the trails in the park, then up to Cadillac Mountain and the view of the harbor and ship below was awesome. Janet524 Posted June 30, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 30, 2008 Did the Ollie's Trolly last August to Acadia. We had a wonderful driver/guide who was a native of Bar Harbor and gave us alot of interesting bits of information. We got to see the main sites of Acadia Park and had some time at each one to do some looking around. I enjoyed it and thought it was worth the price. We booked online and checked in at a kiosk where the tender drops off the passengers. You get the trolly about two blocks from the pier.
Elcruzer Posted July 1, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted July 1, 2008 Thanks for your input. Have heard only good reports re Oli's but someone mentioned that the bus might be more comfortable. How were the seats on the trolley?
Janet524 Posted July 1, 2008 #5 Share Posted July 1, 2008 Oli's Trolly seats were fine...As I recall they were padded vinyl, maybe not as thick as a bus seat, but I didn't have any problem. (Maybe because I have "natural" padding;) ).
