Has anyone ever requested twin beds in an AE suite?

I booked, directly with NCL, an AF because NCL told me the AE was a true queen bed, not two twins that could be separated.

Not sure now if they were right.

This is on the Gem.

Now wondering.

Sounds correct to me..NCL did not know how to accommodate 2 females in an AE....(my sister and I). We grew up sharing beds..not a problem for us..we learned to sleep in our own spot without moving:)

HD did visit us on embarkation day....since the RS were concerned about the situation.

Haven't seen an AF but they are. most likely. correct accommodations as stated by NCL. If you wish to cruise NCL, they can always push the beds apart/together in an AF. Good Luck!
