Ajaccio, Corsica

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Has anyone visited the tortoise reserve on Corsica? I'm thinking of doing the tour there in August, but don't want to do it if you don't really see too much!

Many thanks in advance

Steve

We stopped in Ajaccio on our Pacific Princess cruise last week. We did not go to the turtle reserve but did a ship's excursion to Prunelli Gorges with some picture stops and a taste of local fare (meats, cheeses and wine).

Corsica's beauty lies in its countryside so definitely try to get out of the city (we were there on Sunday and everything was shutdown) and see some of the gorgeous scenery and pretty mountain villages.

Enjoy Corsica whatever you decide to do!
