Passport cards

My friends applied for the new passport cards and have not received them yet. Has anybody applied for them and received them? We leave on the Aug. 2 on the Glory, he was told if he has not gotten them by July 10 to apply for the regular passports.

We applied for DD and DSS. We haven't received them either. The last we heard, they were supposed to send them mid-late June. So maybe they're on their way...?

 

This is what it says on the website:

 

"Based on current projections, we expect the passport card to be in full production beginning in July. We will provide additional updates as available".

Same here. Ordered mine months ago and still waiting. I did receive a confirmation in the mail about a month ago stating that I would be one of the first since I ordered mine when they first started taking pre-orders. But nothing yet.

For the passport card to you need to submit two photos as well.. Or do they download and use your regular passport photo ?

applied and recieved a card the other day they should be in within the next 3 weeks.. Passport expressed recieved within 2 weeks!
