London transfers to Constellation 7/2/05

We are sailing July 2, 2005 on the Constellation - Baltic. We are handling our own air direct from Miami. Does Celebrity provide transportation from downtown London to Dover as we will be arriving 2 days before the cruise?

Do they provide transportation after the cruise from Dover to downtown London as we are staying 1 extra night?

we used celebrity's transfers many times.

the bus to dover leaves from the "victoria coach bus station"and will take you and your luggage to the ship. you do not have to pick up your luggage at the pier. it will be sent to your cabin. just take your carry ons.

we always stayed in london for a few days before our cruise and then took a cab to the bus station.

we once took a transfer from the ship to london. i think the bus stopped at "charing cross station"(not exactly sure). we then took a cab to our hotel.

by the way where are you staying in london?

we stayed at the brand new hotel "city inn westminster" in august. the price thru british air was $140.00 u.s.dollars with a great buffet breakfast. check it out

Don't have a hotel set up yet. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am trying to use membership rewards points from AmEx for the hotel, used points for the air direct from Miami.

Does Celebrity charge for the transfer to/from Victoria Station?

Ja- Have you signed up for the cruise critic party. At last count there were 24 who already signed up. If you visit the cruise critic party boards you will find a thread already started for our sailing. Discussions of transfers and optional tours are already taking place.
