Shops on board

I'm sailing tomorrow and trying to figure out what all to pack. Are there shops on board where I can buy coke/diet coke/sprite and have bottles/cans in our room? I'm not referring to the soda card. DH doesn't want to pack any 2-litres/cases to take on board but we want to have something in our room.

No the shops onboard do not sell soft drinks. There will be some available in your cabin that you can purchase for about $2 each. You can also buy them at the bars.

 

Best bet is to grab a few before boarding the ship or buy the soda card.

The mini bar in your room should be stocked, and have soda products, when you board.

The reason people bring their own soda aboard is because the cost of a soda from the minibar is so high. It is really a matter of whether you are willing to pay a high price for the convenience or bring your own and save some money.

Not every cabin has a mini bar or a refrigerator. Take your own (DH will enjoy the savings!). The cabin steward will bring ice twice a day; however, you can locate the ice machine and get your own at any time.

 

If you don't crave only soft drinks, there's plenty of juice, lemonade, punch, etc. on Lido that you can bring back to your cabin. Room service is also available 24 hrs. a day, and offer some beverages (juice, etc.) at no charge. Just tip $1-2 each time you place an order from RS.:)
