I will be posting a day by day review of our trip on the Carnival Legend. I sailed with DW and her sister and husband. We are all mid 30's. We stayed in 8201, they stayed in 7289, which are both balcony cabins. We dined together at the early seating at table 176. Our server was Ioana, who was awesome! We had a really good time, and as time allows I will post our day by day activities. If you were on this cruise give me a shout!! See you later.

We flew into Tampa from Nashville and arrived at 8:30 local time. We got our bags and waited around the airport a little while and then took a taxi to pier. The taxi was $25 for all 4 of us. We arrived at the pier around 10:00 and a porter took our bags. We couldn't begin the registration process until 10:30, so we grabbed a breakfast sandwich at Joffrey's around the corner. We went into register at 10:30 which was painless and were sent to a waiting area group number 2 for embarkation. We went onboard by 11:30 and went up to the Lido deck for lunch. It was fine and the Rueben was really good. We then went exploring and looked at everything and were in our rooms by 1:30 for a nap until muster drill which was painless. We went up to sail away at 4:00 and hung out by the adult pool for a while. We went back to freshen up before dinner and our bags were there. We had the early seating at dinner and had an enjoyable meal. Order two shrimp cocktails if you like that. Ioana was a great waitress. After dinner we went and played in the casino awhile. They lowered the limits on the first night on the table games. We went back around 10 and tried a slice of pizza. It was good and called it a night. All in all a good first day. We missed the bridge when we left Tampa because we were eating which was my only regret! Also someone mentioned a Monte Cristo sandwich which I never found, but o well!

We woke up on Monday morning and grabbed a bite to eat at the buffet. The bagels were good and the fresh fruit is good also. They have yogurt every day as well. The made to order omelets at the buffet are very good. If the line is short grab one! We then went to the adult pool and hung out there a while and read and enjoyed some relaxing time. We went down and ate in the dining room for lunch. We ate with 2 other couples who were very nice. Lunch was good, not great. You can usually get a made to order burger at lunchtime. I think lunch hours for the dining room are 12:00 to 1:30. We then went back and spent a little time by the pool. We then went and got ready for the Captains cocktail party and formal night. The party was at 5:00. We got to shake hands with the captain and listen to music. We skipped dinner in the dining room and ate in the Golden Fleece Supper Club at 7. (We made reservations the week before before online) I highly recommend the supper club. The service and the food are both outstanding. The cost is $30 per person and it took about 2 and a half hours. It was worth every penny. The filet and lobster tail were great and the sushi appetizer is awesome. We hardly had any room for dessert. We were stuffed and tired after that and we went to bed early. We had a great fun day at sea.

Hi Hinsons! Glad to hear that you enjoyed your cruise...quick question...did you review on Expl. Belize Caves on a different website? (I noticed a similar screenname) Did you do the ziplining as well? We are still excited to go, but a couple bad reviews in a row made me a little leary. Thanks for any help!
