roe2ship Posted October 16, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2004 I am interested in finding which class of ships do you discover the finest service. When making your decision, please consider not only service in dining rooms, cabins, open decks and bars and how efficient it might be, but the crew’s personalized attention and their sincere attitude to go to great lengths to ensure that you are overall satisfied. Thank you.
HB Cruiser Posted October 16, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2004 I cannot vote because you have no Sovereign class listed. There is no better service than on the Sovereign and yes it is a class. We have been on Voyager, Mariner, and Enchantment but the service on Sovereign is second to none. Tim

Desertbelle Posted October 17, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 17, 2004 Why would a class of ship have anything to do with service?  I swear people will make a competition out of anything!
glgolfer Posted October 18, 2004 #6 Share Posted October 18, 2004 We've been on every class of RCI ship including the Song of Norway. 16 RCI cruises on 11 different ships. The service has always been very good to excellent on any ship. The ship class really has nothing to do with the quality of the service.
maxs mom Posted October 18, 2004 #7 Share Posted October 18, 2004 I agree! But the best service we have ever had has been on the Nordic Empress (Empress of the Seas).
roe2ship Posted October 18, 2004 Author #8 Share Posted October 18, 2004 I posted this to get an idea if RCL passengers feel if service levels are better or worse or make the cruising experience different on specific class of ships (small vs. big) You see, on the Princess boards, a discussion was started regarding that if Princess is going along with the trend of builder bigger ships, they will be enticing new cruisers and cruisers from other lines who find a much different cruising experience that what Princess is known for. They feel that the small ships provide a more traditional cruising experience with better service even though the bigger ships remain at similiar staffing levels as to those on the small ships.
stretch Posted October 18, 2004 #9 Share Posted October 18, 2004 If our cruise on the Brilliance back in March was any indication of the trend in service NOW being given on RCI and based on the level of service on the same ship 11 months prior. I would guess that the best is "X" class, as in Celebrity. Stretch
