Theme nights on Golden?

My wife and I are taking our first Princes cruise on Golden- 01/30/05 (we are past Celebrity cruisers). Has anyone heard about "theme nights', such as western night or island night where we might want to bring the appropriately themed attire? Thanks

Was on the Golden ( a fabulous ship by the way ) this past May and there were no theme nights.

I do think Wednesday night was Island Night and people were encouraged to dress for it. Had a great band and party!

Just got off the Golden a week ago (and I would give my left arm to go back again). As far as themed clothing nights there was island night and the two formal nights. There was a country western hoedown one night but no one really dressed up for it except the CD's

Just did the Golden last week and Wednesday was Island Night where they had a big party on the pool decks starting around 10:30 p.m. All the staff and the majority of the passengers were dressed up in tropical clothes. Also, for those people that don't own any Island Wear, there was a sale discounting some of those shirts.
