Westjet/southwest

Recommended Posts

Just heard this morning that Westjet{Canadian} has formed a alliance with Southwest Airlines. This will be great for you all who are flying to Canada ie Vancouver for your Alaska Cruises. I believe it is a ticket sharing deal.Westjet in Canada is a discount Airline with great service in Canada only for now. 2nd largest to Air Canada.

Should be interesting.... although Westjet doesn't fly only in Canada (has been going to the US for a while now).

We checked them out for a trip from Vancouver to Fort Lauderdale and the price was crazy high. So as usual we are going out of Seattle - would be nice to have some good prices to choose from out of YVR.

Yeah, but Southwest doesn't fly into Canada. Of course, this codeshare thing isn't going to happen until sometime next year, but it's still great news.
