Thank you for the info. Now no to sound like a complete space cadet, what exactly are the gold benefits? I'm kind of new to this and I just want to have all my information right.

Now I have a question along these lines.

I am Platinum but have always cruised solo since becoming Platinum. I am going on the Liberty soon with a lady friend on my booking. Also I am taking my youngest son (14) on his first cruise in October on the Holiday. Will either of them be able to go through the VIP line with me? I have my doubts about her but am hoping my son being family can. Either way I am not going to leave them in a separate line if they can't.

If they are booked into the same cabin as you, they will be afforded VIP boarding along with you as a Platinum member.
