cruisegal58 Posted July 11, 2008 #26 Share Posted July 11, 2008 :( we sailed the triumph in sept of 2007..we had a nice time as we do on all cruises but...we had 4 adults with 2 ov cabins connecting rooms..we all had to send back meals in the mdr more than once. this has never happened b4. the pool music was the same tape every day...kids where they shouldnt be, of course this can happen on most carnival ships, they were at the casino bar all night too..i dont understand where the parents r?? sleeping but the kids r at the bar at 2am.. the last day at sea the johns would not flush for several hours making it sooo nice. the odor of laquer was disgusting. we smelled it on day 1 when we got to the cabi and thought it may be some type of cleaning stuff?? it woke us several times very early, we thought we were being gassed!! found out from a costa concerige that they use this spray to cover the septic odors.. nice..it was alot of little things, we had a ncie cruise, half moon and gr truk r great. i think she is sailing to different ports now. we have been on 7 carnival cruises, the triumph was our least favorite for sure. sorry, had to tell the truth..but any cruise is better than sitting here!!! Thanks for keeping it real. Sounds like you are like us, we may not have the best service but we make it our own no matter what, since it is true being on a cruise is better than not being! Thanks to everyone for the insight, love the input from everone. Especially like the picture of the spa level ocean view room, thanks a bunch. We might have to try it all the way up on spa. Seems different. How is the motion up that high anyone?
