Need a tour guide in Florence for 4 couples

Can anyone provide a name for a reliable tour operator in Florence. We are 4 adult couples arriving in Livorno on Sept 12th. via ship. One of the passengers has a fear of height. Does that present any problems on the ride to or in Florence. Would appreciate any feedback.

We used Guido Bandinelli with travels in tuscany dot com. He was excellent. Very knowledgeable particularly about Italian foods and wines.

 

I do not remember any eleveted roads along the way.

I have used Fabrizio from allarounditaly.net many times and I can't recomend him enough. I don't think that there should be any problems with heights.

If you have not already booked someone, you cannot do any better than Giovanni Sirabella. His website is www.sunflower-tours.com, and you eaither use the email on that site, or giovanni.sirabel9bud@alice.it. We booked a tour of Tuscany towns with him for one of the four days we were in Florence this May, and the five of us, two couples and a single, all felt that that day by far was the best of our 15 day trip. His knowledge is just amazing, and he is as nice and flexible as can be, and he speaks wonderful English. I am quite hearing impaired, and I could understand him clearly. He even threw in a couple of extra house gratis for us on our full day tour, and he only charged 350 euros total for the tour. He has a nine seat comfortable van, so for eight it is definitely doable. He is just super, the best guide any of us ever had anywhere, and four of us are very well travelled.
