Maybe not a pet peeve but a suggestion. Start deleting some of the old posts not active for a certain amount of time, since many of the same questions are of the same nature!

 

Also I have to agree, that when reviewing a cruise there are some people that seem to have had the worse cruise possible because they say NOTHING positive in their reviews.

I dislike the same questions posted over and over again. However, sometimes I don't think it is the posters fault. I think it is the bad search feature that causes most of this. I posted yesterday about using C & A coupons with Best Price Cruises. Yes, I can call them and get their answer from them directly but I like to have a bit of knowledge from those that are experienced before I call. I know I have read about that before but after about an hour of wasted time using the search I just posted the question.

 

PLEASE GET THE SEARCH FEATURE REPAIRED OR REPLACED!!!

I hope this helps, IMHO these are my pet peeve's:

 

1) ALL CAPS

 

2) People that complain about someone starting a thread. An example is on the free drink thread.

 

3) People who lack a sense of humor and complain about a little comic relief.

 

4) Any post by Parrothead8. (Just kidding.)

1. The line by line lists of ships sailed on in signatures.... I know folks are proud to list them, but is it really necessary ???

 

2. The :::cute::: little pictures in signatures especially when someone responds several times on one thread....Solution to this would be simply turn off the signature or edit to avoid excessive space in a post.

 

3. People who BUMP a post to get it back on top of the page.

 

4. All the C.C. hosted cruise posts....Perhaps a page dedicated to these to keep the boards cleaner ???

 

5. "Will I like this ship ???".... How in the heck are we to know your likes and dislikes ??

 

6. "Did I pay too much ?"......

So many variables on this topic

 

I am sure many will flame for my thoughts, but the question was asked and thus my response !
