We are a family of 5 (4 adults and a 9 month old), not familair of what's the easiest and most economical way to travel (preferably taxi, or van??) from:

- Miami airport to hotel in downtown miami for pre-cruise stay

- From hotel to port

and vice versa after cruise.

We prefer not ot drive as we're not faniliar with the neighborhood.

We will also have luggage and an infant care seat. What's your advice?

Thanks a bunch.

Taxi is the cheapest and easiest when you are in Miami.

Here's what you do....

--Grab your luggage - go out the door at baggage claim and look for the "TAXI" sign and the desk

--An airport exmployee will ask how many in your family and radio for a taxi (which usually arrives in a minute or two)

--They hand you a slip of paper with a number to call if you had ANY problems with your taxi

--IGNORE the people trying to grab you when you walk out of baggage claim

--There is a flat rate - for a normal taxi it's $26. But you can get one for 5 and pay per person.
