RayInPR Posted July 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2008 If you're planning on going to one of the biobays (Laguna Grande in Fajardo, Mosquito Bay in Vieques or La Parguera in Lajas), it's best to make sure you go on a moonless or near moonless night so that you can maximize the experience. The brighter the moon is, the "less bright" the biobay will appear. Nights with a full moon are almost always bad. We have a moon / biobay viewing calendar that shows which nights will be better than others for experiencing the biobays. We've updated that to include nights through August 2009. We hope this helps with planning your visit to Puerto Rico.
