Infant carrier? Or car seat?

Which is probably going to be easier and less of a hassle for us? An infant carrier or a car seat? We sail in less than 2 months and we could still keep her in the carrier, if it's going to be easier.

What have you done? Or what is your thought on this?

We took the infant carrier once and the car seat later on. I find the car seat to be much easier than taking the carrier and the base since it's lighter and in one piece. Its up to you. Take whatever is the easiest to carry and install.

Take the infant carrier if your baby still fits in it. The infant carrier can be strapped in to a seat without the base, at least ours can. You can also fit the infant carrier into a stroller. Its also an easy way to transport baby especially if they're not sitting up yet.
