CruisinFools Posted July 16, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 16, 2008 Does anyone know of any hotels in San Fran that will allow us to stay over a night or two, pre-cruise, and then let us leave our car parked (for little or no cost, yeah, I know, haha!) while we're on our cruise? I read that the hotwire deal with Holiday Inn is a good one - any idea about their parking policy? thanks!!
nna Posted July 16, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 16, 2008 I saw some ads for some places by the airport-in the back of sunset magazine. I will look them up tomorrow for you. I believe it would be a real limited choice and it would be by the airport. there is no cheap land..
Coreopsis Posted July 16, 2008 #3 Share Posted July 16, 2008 Does anyone know of any hotels in San Fran that will allow us to stay over a night or two, pre-cruise, and then let us leave our car parked (for little or no cost, yeah, I know, haha!) while we're on our cruise? I read that the hotwire deal with Holiday Inn is a good one - any idea about their parking policy? thanks!! I don't believe you will find any in San Francisco proper - and if you did, it would cost a pretty penny. Here's a place to start for SFO hotels that advertise park and fly. . . http://sanfrancisco.airporthotelguide.com/san_francisco_park_fly.html http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/chronicle/archive/2001/05/20/TR203868.DTL Personally, I would just just park at one of the offsite long term lots and stay at a hotel with awesome location and perks. This is where I park - they shuttle you over and pick you up right from the curb within just a few minutes of your call. Unlike the shuttle vans - they don't wait around and 5 minutes later, you are in your car. they even will wash your car in/out if you like (for a fee) Here's a link to a coupon . . . http://www.skypark.com/spring2008 and there are even cheaper places . . . here is a chart comparing: http://www.anzaparking.com/compare_sfo_parking_rates.php
CruisinFools Posted July 17, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted July 17, 2008 Thanks for the info!! If the airports weren't such a nightmare experience, we would just fly. It's probably cheaper, but what a hassle! Thanks again!
