TucsonToo Posted July 17, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 17, 2008 We just booked on the Radiance for September 2009. We are on deck 7 - category E3. When I checked the deck plan I saw our staterooms are right over the casino. Is this a bad place to be? Will we hear the noice? If so, there is still time to ask to be moved. Any insight would be apppreciated. Thanks.

mrchips14 Posted July 18, 2008 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2008 Can you stand the sound of grown people crying? lol I don't know for real, but I would move if possible. Maybe noisy or you might smell cigarette smoke. It is usually open till 2:00am. Good luck
suzyjack Posted July 18, 2008 #4 Share Posted July 18, 2008 I asked the same question about the Conquest a while back. I got responses both ways- pretty much equal. I was worried, my husband said take earplugs and don't sweat it. He said if we moved, we would probably end up in a cabin that smelled or something worse. He is probably right. Have a great cruise and don't sweat what may happen- it may not!
mgmigs Posted July 18, 2008 #5 Share Posted July 18, 2008 i would think the real problem would be if you were below but you will be above the casino. i can't see how you could have smoke travel throught the casino cieling and through your floor??? TucsonToo Posted July 22, 2008 Author #6 Share Posted July 22, 2008 Thanks for your replies. I think we'll stay where they put us -- it's close to the elevators.
