You will love it for Alaska. We also took an upsell to the Star's Owner's Suite in 2006 to Alaska. The side balcony was great for those early morning breakfasts while cruising up the inside passage. Enjoy the cruise and the views of Alaska. :)

Awesome! What date do you leave? I booked an AE on the Star for the repositioning cruise in Sept. and am hoping for the upsell/upgrade fairy to call!

The we are in is 10006. I think that is the Vangho suite? Am I right?

We got it 50 percent off from noramal cost it would be to move from AE to AA. And now that I am looking at the post Upsell is what I should have called it not upgrade.
