Most economical transport for a single from FLL to MIA hotel

I am flying into FLL next Tuesday and get in around 9:30PM. I am looking for the most economical way for a single person to get from FLL to a hotel in Coral Gables.

I got one quote from a vendor I found in an old search for $65.

Are there any shared rides that late at night that I could possibly bring that cost down? Maybe Florida Limo? Are they just outside of the terminal? Any others?

How do I arrange for return travel?

Shared rides from GOShuttle (aka Florida Limo)are available late at night. For $21 it's a bargain.

When you arrive at the airport, collect your luggage and go outside the baggage claim area, lower level, curbside, contact one of the starters (customer services reps.) wearing a white shirt with "GO AIRPORT SHUTTLE" in green on the back of the shirt and an emblem on the sleeve and over the breast pocket. Let the starter know what service you are interested in and he/she will assist you.

Except I am not taking a cruise and am going from Tuesday to Tuesday. I will be at a hotel in Coral Gables. I figured I would ask here since everyone is so helpful and I know people have stayed at hotels post and pre cruise in MIAMI but flown in and out of FLL.

Maybe you can arrange return service from the shuttle company. I know they have a website. http://www.floridalimo.com/Pages/sharedr.html

Unfortunately they don't do shared rides for passengers going to Ft Lauderdale airport. Their regular limo service would be available but it's probably not the most economical way for a single passenger. Car rental would could be a reasonable alternative.
