This will be our first Oceania cruise. It seems that we are more comfortable and can travel a little faster by doing excursions on our own. It has worked well in the past. Let us know if you are interested in independent shore excursions...rental cars or taxis...to share..I am NOT a travel agent.

I think if you check the roll call, you'll find a posting for your cruise. Go to 'Roll Call,' click on Oceania, then click on Insignia. Your cruise will be posted by date. Good luck!

Hi, we will be on the cruise, 10/19. We like to arrange private tours also, preferably with no more than 6 people. Right now we are looking into a driver for the Livorno port. We have been in Florence, and would prefer to go to San Gimigianno, and a couple other hill towns. We have been to Sienna, but would stop there again. As far as other ports, we already set up a share for Sorrento, a tour of the Amalfi Coast, and Ravello. We plan to do alot of these ports on our own. We are planning to go to Pompeii for the day, taking the train, and we plan to walk and train the Cinque Terra. As far as Positano, Dubrovnick, Kotor, friends have told us to just explore on our own. We would be happy to discuss options. We sailed on Oceania last year on the Insignia, and we were very happy.
