Not sure where to start. Me my wife and 2 daughters were on the July 19 western carib cruise. Wife and I had a Cat 11 and the girls a cat 6 on the Verandah deck. Nice room we had small balcony. Trip from NY to Fl was fine. Landed in Fort Lauderale at 1:30 got the VIP treatment had lunch and went to room for a few minutes. The Cruise Director Jorge who was so funny got on the loud speaker and said do the bad weather we will be changing the route and go to Ocha Rios first and Grand Cayman second. The other 2 ships out out of Miami had to go to Key West to ride out storm.

First day on Sea great had Bon Voyage send me a bottle of Abosolute and our Steward Richard who was excellent made sure it was always chilled and mixers available.

I was involved in the Hairy Chest contest and came in 2nd . All through the trip people came over to me and said that I should have won . Didnt matter to me as I had a great time and won a bottle of Champagne which I gave to another couple celebrating there 50th wedding Aniversary.

The rest of the trip I must have been greated 50 times a day people saying Hey MR New York. I became a overnight celebrity.

Got to Jamaica went on the Plantation Dunns River Falls excursion climbed some of the falls due to bad knees did not go all the way up ,

The vendors were very pushy that part i did not like . shopped went back to ship had dinner show and casino won some money in Craps meet some great people and went to bed at 3:30

Up next day did not have excursion set for Grand Cayman . Got tendered and at dock all 4 of us went to Stingray city for snorkeling. Paid for 3 instead of 4 cause wife said she was just going for a ride. Not bad $120 for 4 of us got back to boat area around 2:00 shopped a while and back on boat that night we ate at Lido buffet as we decided not to have dinner in dining room Had the Deli great Corned Beef and Pastrami being from NY I know the difference

next day at sea spent with kids on waterworks and drinking .

The whole trip I never thought about work or anything negative Cant remember when That happened before

Cant wait for our next cruise

All I can say is how wonderful we were treated by the staff.

I will be 50 in dec meet people 25 years younger and 25 years older on the cruise. Never before did I see that race religion, sex age have no barrier. Everybody was helpful. Meet some great people on the cruise and my girls have not stopped texting their new found friends

Here is a few more pics

That's what really struck me on my first cruise. Everybody was having a good time together.
