Taxi or Car Service?

We are flying into Laguardia on Sunday, staying at Westin Times Square, leave on Victory Monday and Get back to port on Saturday, flying out Sat at 5:15 from Newark. Should we use car service for all these transfers or just take taxis?

I was hoping to see a little more of New York Saturday before leaving for the airport. The hotel said we could bring our luggage back and they would hold them for us on Sat., but not sure if there is enough time to do anything.

From LGA its just as easy to get a taxi cab(a yellow NY City Taxi) they are waiting and you don't have to worry about meeting up with them. They are generally slightly less than a limo. I assume this is the Carnival Victory that leaves from the Manhattan West side cruise terminal. Also a taxi from the hotel is the simplest and cheapest(under $10.00). You will need to leave around 2-2;30 from the hotel to get back to Newark. A limo will be the cheapest and best way(NY Taxis charge the meter plus toll plus $15.00 to go to EWR and may not be happy about it I would use any reputable limo back to EWR from the hotel see for example http://www.carmellimo.com or any similar)....from the pier to the hotel if you are in a hurry cross the street to northbound 12th avenue and catch a cab instead of waiting in line...IMO of course
