taxi from cruise port to Piazzale Roma

Can anyone tell me how much a taxi cost from the cruise terminal to Piazalle Roma? I am meeting my parents in Venice while they are in port on their cruise. I know it is only a short distance, but they cannot walk for long periods easily and want to save their energy for walking around the major sights. The idea is for them to take a taxi from the cruise terminal to P. Roma to meet me where we will catch the Vaparetto.

We were there in April and there was a 'vaparetto' shuttle from the ship to the Plaza San Marco for 11 euro each round trip. It is the easiest way to travel if walking is a problem. I did not see any taxis at the port area since they have the water shuttle. The walk to Piazalle Roma is a little strenuous for those with difficulties.
