ft lauderdale to miami

Cruise leaving out of Miami. Plane tickets are two times cheaper to Ft. Lauderdale. So any ideas on the most reasonable way to Miami!:D

Cruise leaving out of Miami. Plane tickets are two times cheaper to Ft. Lauderdale. So any ideas on the most reasonable way to Miami!:D

 

Last month my family of 3 got a 1 way Hertz rental car at Ft. Lauderdale and dropped off at the Miami downtown location then took the free shuttle to the port. The car rental was about $30 for a compact car. We saved about $100 per person flying into Ft. Lauderdale. The airports are so close that the car was still on full when we returned it.

good to know. do you have any good ideas fro hotels? will the free shuttles come to airports?

You did real good if it only cost you $30 for a taxi from FLL to Miami or do you mean it cost you $30 to rent a car.:confused:
