bigpete47uk Posted July 29, 2008 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2008 Afternoon all, Anyone any ideas on dry-cleaning charges on Ventura. Will be on board for 4 weeks (N812 & N813) and there isn't enough 'Febreze' in the world to keep a fat bloke's Dinner Suit smelling nice over that length of time.:D Also did anyone use the self service laundry facilities? Are irons available for use? Do you have to pay like in a laundrette at home? Will the facilities be available on 'changeover' day i.e. between the two cruises? MTIA for any info. Pete. humpy Posted July 29, 2008 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2008 hi bigpete.when we were on ventura we used the drycleaners on board to clean our shirts and trousers, but not the dinner suites and found the prices very reasonable, cant remember exact prices but they were not extortionate. the laundry rooms are equipt with one ironing board and one iron.there was one washing machine and one drier in the laundry room.one tip is to take your own washing tablets as it was cheaper than buying on board.there is no charge for the self service laundry.hope this helps..happy sailing..humpy

Greaves_30 Posted August 12, 2008 #8 Share Posted August 12, 2008 Don't you get an iron and ironing board in your cabin? Thanks
supered Posted August 12, 2008 #9 Share Posted August 12, 2008 Don't you get an iron and ironing board in your cabin? Thanks No I'm afraid you don't. They don't allow irons in cabins due to the portential fire risk if they are left on inadvertently. Eddie
