Hi I am new to this cruise post, does anyone know the price of drinks - beer - scotch on this cruise. As we are dept Hong Kong is it in HKG$, also any tips as first time on Virgo. Also anyone been on the port tours since leaving from Hong Kong.

Probably the most asked question, and people seem to get so needlessly hung up thinking they are going to be "ripped off" .

 

By Australian standards on-board drink prices in bars and restaurants are charged at pub type bar prices . The wine lists are extensive and prices for quality bottled wines are very reasonable and usually well below the prices asked in most Australian restaurants .

 

So relax , forget about it as an issue ; relax and enjoy your cruise .

If you are an Aussie quick conversion HK $ to A $ - divide by 7 .

PS: If you are booked in Balcony Class or Admiral Class on VIRGO then you should have a pre-determined in HK $ Food and Beverage credit included in your cruise . If in doubt ask your TA .
