Carrying Alcohol Onboard RCCL??

Recommended Posts

I am going to be in Venice for 2 day pre cruise and would like to bring alcohol onboard not to drink, but just as gifts to bring back to the US. I would also like to buy local wine in Santorini? Is it held by the ship until we disembark or does no alcohol onboard really mean no alcohol?

You should really ask this over on the RCI board. If caught (or readily surrendered) they will store it for you until the last night. You may not get caught, therefore you just keep it in your cabin. Then you run the risk of drinking it and it never makes it back to the USA!

I personally think that the local wine in Santorini is pretty awful and I wouldn't go to the effort of carrying it on a transatlantic plane trip....a good Italian wine is a totally different story though.
