Thank you so much for this news. I will diffinantly check into this on their website and see what we think about it. Anybody been to either of these two ruins? Are they worth the extra time to get there?

 

Kohunlich is a 2 hour bus ride(one way) and is worth it. The main atraction is a series of carved heads that you have to climb up to see. The whole site covers a lot of area. I would not do a private tour to this site because of the distance and time.

Here are our pic's of Xuanantunich, the highest temple is just over 125ft and you can see into Guatemala from the top. This excursion is a full day and should include your lunch. Lamanai and Xuanatunich are a toss up but this of this excursion as a once in a lifetime, you can beach or snorkel almost anywhere.
