The only time I listened at length was the first or second evening. We arrived just before they started a set. I asked if they could play something from 1 of 3 groups (Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Van Halen). Well, I sat though the entire set and came up empty. They only played lame/tame songs. No REAL rock. After that set they said "that's it for tonight". It was (as I recall) shortly after midnight. Seemed fairly early to be wrapping it up! I thus did not have a lot of motivation to go back and listen again... Tom

We were on the Liberty in Feb.07 and Music Network was playing, but they played some really great classic rock...Dennis

It is on deck 4, as opposed to deck 5. And frankly, I have never noticed that they "put the brakes" on loud acts in those aft lounges w/regard to the time of evening. They shouldn't have to, but then again - they should not have built the ship is such a way to have THUMP THUMP THUMP issues in passenger cabins. THAT'S where KNOWING about issues such as these comes in VERY handy. CC should be required reading for all cruisers, LOL! Tom

Tom Yeah I always have my TA put me in a cabin between two passenger decks...We are really looking into a B2B on the Glory in Feb..I'm trying to go on every Carnival ship, My DW has been on the Glory but I have not....LOL....Dennis

Cat 9A (6452 and 6483). We have stayed in those MULTIPLE times (last week included) and NEVER had any issues with noise. I can't say the same about ANY cabin forward of those corners, as I have been in those (our sons stayed in one) and can attest to the fact that there is an endless THUMPING from the Ebony Cabaret into the wee hours!!
