B&C-Cruisers Posted August 3, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2008 We were on the first cruise ship to stop at Prince Rupert Island several years ago, and we took a railroad tour that was offered from the ship. I have looked at different sites for tours and have not found anything about this tour, does anyone know if the railroad tour still available? Warrior1 Posted August 3, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2008 It was not last year when we stopped in Prince Rupert with Royal Caribbean. We went to the Butze Rapids and the Museum near the dock.

robinsegg Posted August 3, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 3, 2008 The only passenger rail I'm aware of in Prince Rupert is the Skeena, which goes from Prince Rupert through to Prince George. Not a day trip type of thing.

Not a day trip type of thing. Did the trip once in the middle of winter, got wakened up at 5 am and was put off the train in Prince Gororge at 6 am, there were no cabs and had to walk to the Inn of the North for breakfast in -30 temp. This was in the early 80's and the man whose idea it was to make the trip has been dead for 2 years now and maybe in the next 3 years I will forgive him.;)
