maytojuly Posted August 3, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2008 Since I received luggage labels I have upgraded to another room. Would I be able to make my own labels, or should I wait until I get to the dock for new ones. I travel this weekend so I wouldn't be able to order more (if that is an option). Thanks.:)
bubbie617 Posted August 3, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2008 You can get new ones when you get to the pier. The porters have plenty of blank luggage tags. They will check the manifest to make sure you are giving them the right cabin number, fill out the tag and you are on your way. Have a great time. maggieq Posted August 3, 2008 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2008 I upgraded on my last (aos) cruise. Go on officemax.com and buy a 5 pack of self laminating luggage tags. They held up very well and I would buy them again, if needed. the great thing is that you can print or type your name and deck/cabin pretty big on these labels
Happy ks Posted August 4, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 4, 2008 No need to print out or buy anything at all. We've had to get luggage tags from the porters desk a couple of times and it only took a minute. They have a pen to write your cabin number down for you, no need to take one along. The regular luggage tags you should already have on your luggage are enough to identify your name and address, if need be.
rubrrick Posted August 4, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 4, 2008 We probably need to get used to porters putting our cabin numbers on our bags.............as RCCL is getting ready to get rid of most of the paper documents. Somewhere I read that they will still be available......but at a charge..........something like $35.00 for the documents sent to you by mail. E-docs are the way of the future. RCCL does not presently have a way for anyone to print their cabin number on something besides just a piece of plain paper. So, the porter is the answer for now.
