SeaTrekkers Posted August 3, 2008 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2008 Are there any cruiselines that offer children a no-fee rate or at a reduced rate if only travelling with one adult?
Julienatul Posted August 3, 2008 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2008 I dont believe so, they always charge the second person as a full adult fare regardless of the age. Its not really based on age but number of persons in the cabin. Sorry. Julie
kitty9 Posted August 4, 2008 #3 Share Posted August 4, 2008 The rates are based on double occupancy, so even if you bring a two year old, that child will pay the full adult fare.
crusinmama06 Posted August 4, 2008 #4 Share Posted August 4, 2008 Honestly I can't think of any. The first two people in the cabin will always be the same price. Then the discounts come with the 3rd and 4th people. You can get cheaper cruises though. Some lines start as low as $229 for the 1st and 2nd in the cabin. pajammies Posted August 5, 2008 #5 Share Posted August 5, 2008 I just happened to stumble upon another thread yesterday and now I can't find it, but MSC was stated as being free for kids. I checked their website and it does say that kids under the age of 17 cruise free with two paying adults in the same cabin. I don't know if it is for a limited time or not but it is current right now anyway.

NCL is free for those under 2, pay taxes/port fees. But this person asked if there was a cruseline that allowed free kids with the purchase of ONE adult airfare. And the answer to that is, no. :)
